Decibel meter

An important aspect to measure the comfort factor of a building is the noise. When installing an air conditioner, people sometimes forget that it can also cause noise nuisance and that additional insulation should be provided if necessary. Sound of 120dB is the pain threshold and 130dB can cause permanent hearing damage, but a permanent background noise of 30dB can also be experienced as very disturbing. This must be taken into account when installing machines and other noise producing devices for which a sound meter is essential.
